A Sparkly Gradient Manicure

Alright, time to get down to business!
A few weeks ago, I came across this image on Pinterest:

This manicure was featured over at All Lacquered Up- it's her photo. Gorgeous, right?

I recently picked up a few Wet 'n Wild polishes at Rite Aid because they were on sale for $0.99- couldn't resist that! One evening I painted my nails with the pink, holo sparkly Hannah Pinktana. When I awoke the next morning, I decided I didn't love that it was so sheer- so I decided to try a gradient with Blue Wants to Be a Millionaire, inspired by the above photo. I love how it turned out... check it!

And here is an out of focus photo so you can see the holo glitter...

I loved this look! The sheer jelly-ness of the polish made this perfect for gradient. And the sparkle is a favorite of mine.

On another note, sorry about the photo quality- these were taken via iPhone because I did not have my camera with me. In the future I will be providing better photos.

Hope you enjoy this look, get out and do it yourself!

An AWESOME giveaway!

Check out this giveaway from Polish Changes! I've seen good polish giveaways, but this seriously takes the cake! Absolutely the best I've seen!

Another nail blog? YES! And this is why!

If you are reading this blog post right now, it's probably for one of three reasons.

  1. You are like me, in that you have an overwhelming fascination with nail polish and will click on every swatch there is to be found.
  2. You're my mother (hi, mom).
  3. You have no idea why you are reading this, because you clicked on my link from a comment on an established polish blog accidentally.
Whatever the reason may be, you are here. Let me tell you why you should stay.

There is a rich world of nail polish blogs out there, and several that I could only dream of living up to.  I'm not an aficionado- but passion, I have... and that's precisely why I have something to say! Today is October 8th, the day that marks my fifth month of nail polish obsession (did I just admit that?).  Seriously, only five months! Years behind some of the best nail bloggers out there. But over the course of five months, my nail polish collection has grown from three to three hundred- literally! That's about two polishes every day for five months! Talk about enthusiasm.

I've latched onto this thing, and I am not letting go... so ride along with me while I share about the things I love.  Expect swatches, expect color, definitely expect glitter! Did I tell you to expect glitter? Because I seriously LOVE glitter!

My family and friends don't really understand, but if you are reading polish blogs I know you get it... so I'm forgetting the things they say and polishing proudly. Welcome to So Proudly We Nail! :)
